Dear Internet Polyglot Community,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Internet Polyglot. Since our inception in 2005, we have been privileged to serve the language learning community, providing tools and resources to help polyglots around the globe explore new languages and cultures. Our journey over the past years has been incredibly rewarding, witnessing countless learners expand their horizons through the power of language.
Unfortunately, the reality of maintaining a free subscription model has proven unsustainable for us. Despite our best efforts, the costs associated with keeping our site running have outpaced our resources, leading us to the difficult decision to cease operations.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your dedication to language learning and cultural exchange has been the driving force behind Internet Polyglot. Your enthusiasm and support have made our community a vibrant and welcoming space for learners of all levels.
As we say goodbye, we wish you all the best in your language learning adventures. May you continue to discover, learn, and connect with cultures across the world. Your passion for languages opens doors to understanding and friendship, and we hope you carry that forward wherever you go.
If anyone within our community is interested in taking over the stewardship of Internet Polyglot, we welcome your inquiries. Our hope is that the spirit of Internet Polyglot can live on in some form, continuing to support language learners in the future.
Thank you once again for being an integral part of our journey. Here's to all the words you've learned and the conversations you'll have.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Mikhail Gavryuchkov Founder, Internet Polyglot
